Where the crossover sits
Roughly three or four weekends. Above that, owning is cheaper on paper.
What the paper leaves out is the labour and the risk: somebody fills it, somebody watches the forecast, and somebody eats the loss if it goes in a storm. On service none of those are yours, and there is no charge for a day it did not fly.
For a builder running one or two communities with a reliable sales team, buy. For a builder running six with staff turnover, the maths looks very different.
How long does setup take?
About ten minutes and one person, after the first time.
Can we put the community name on it?
Yes. Both sides. Lettering is priced by size.
What if it is windy on a Saturday?
Over 25 mph forecast, it comes down. On service we make that call.
Do we get a discount for six communities?
On purchase, ask on the phone. On service, no — one rate for everyone.
How fast can we get them?
Three to seven days production after artwork approval, then two to five days shipping.
